Shuhei Nishitateno is an Associate Professor, School of Policy Studies, Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan. His research interest is to evaluate public policies in the fields of transport, environment, and international trade. He obtained Ph.D. from Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University in 2011. 

Shuhei has published in journals including Regional Science and Urban Economics, Economic Inquiry, and Energy Economics. His ongoing research topics include effectiveness of low emission zone policy in Japan, road traffic and air pollution, and effectiveness of aid-for-trade.
